I’m an experienced professional Mohel based in Lakewood, and serve anywhere in the USA. I have learned by numerous מוהלים in Lakewood, NJ and in London. I have performed numerous בריתות, from the easiest ones, to the most complicated ones.

when you call me to perform your son’s ברית מילה, I will first ask you some questions about his health, and what the pediatrician has to say. Once we see that we could go further, I’ll come to you to check if the baby is ready for the ברית מילה (unless you’re too far, in that case we’ll use other ways to determine the status of the baby). In the event that the baby is not ready, I’ll advise you on the steps to take in order to get him ready, and we’ll try to make sure that everything for the best of the child is done.

After that the exiting day comes! I will do everything to keep הלכה and the medical part of it on the highest level. I will sanitize my hands and all of my tools with alcohol. I will use a disposable sterile surgical scalpel (to avoid infections). I do not use a hemostat, as it adds tremendous amount of unnecessary pain to the baby. I will do פריעה בצפורן and מציצה בפה (if you’re not comfortable with that, please let me know about it). I don’t charge for performing ברית מילה, and I don’t expect to get paid (for more insight about this practice look at יו״ד סימן רסא). If the father should pay the mohel even when he doesn’t expect to get paid, please refer to your rabbi.

After the ברית מילה I’ll be there for you for the healing process. I’ll provide anything you need to heal him, and instruct you what to do.
